Herb Bread (Bread Machine)

  • 1-1/8 C water
  • 1-1/2 Tbs. nut oil or olive oil
  • 3 C bread flour
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 Tbs. gluten
  • 1-1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried tarragon
  • 2 tsp. SAF yeast or 2-1/2 tsp. bread machine yeast

Place all ingredients in the pan according to the order in the manufacturer's instructions. Set crust on medium or dark and program for the Basic cycle; press Start. (This recipe may be made using the Delay Timer.)

When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack. Let cool to room temperature before slicing.
