Spaghetti Sauce (CP)

Ingredients:
  • 2 lb. Italian turkey sausage
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 small cans mushrooms
  • 2 cans (14.5oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (29oz.) tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 can (6-oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 Tbs. dried basil
  • 1 Tbs. dried oregano
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions:

Cook sausage, onions and garlic in skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes or until browned; drain. Transfer to crock pot. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on Low 8-9 hours.
